You want to know more about my style, but I believe style is a fluid thing. Style is less about me and more about you. Some couples feel like the light and airy style, while others feel more like a dark and moody style. I don’t like to inflict a set style on couples or myself. I like to explore your desires and adjust to my subject. However, for those that want to hear about how I would characterize my photography without any input from a subject, I would say I shoot more in the classic, vibrant style. But, this kind of definition of style is little more than a few settings on computer program. I believe that the more important underlaying characteristic throughout my photography is intuition. Capturing stolen moments is something that always gets my heart pumping on a shoot, but equally important are the big epic editorial photos that are created by the subject and the photographer coming together to create art. Working with the backdrops, the light, the emotions of the subjects, and my own intuition to find those once in a lifetime pieces of art in a river of moments are things that really make this the best job in the world.

Let’s talk about stress. Any shoot can be stressful, but weddings in particular can be intense. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable. That looks different for everyone. Sometimes that means being as unobtrusive as possible, for others it means cracking a joke to make things feel lighter, but for everyone it means making you feel special on your big day. The big thing here is that I am flexible. I can shift to make you feel the most comfortable in front of my lens. Here are the things that you do not have to stress about with me. I will always answer text messages and emails in a timely manner. Nothing is worse than waiting days to get information you need now. I will always honestly communicate with you. We need to trust each other if you are going to open up to me behind the lens. I whole heartedly believe in meeting up before you engage my services. You need to see if we have a connection, because it is important that we vibe in the shoot. If your intuition is telling you I might be the one, I can guarantee that I will work hard for you. I will do everything in my power to make your photographs the ones that will help you relive some of the most important moments in your life.
